Why should kids practice yoga? For fun, flexibility, fitness and
relaxation.
Children
today are under a lot of stress. Homework, pressure to compete with
other children, endless after-school activities, over-scheduling, it
all adds up. With this in mind Jo attended the Radiant Child yoga course
in Perth and BodyMindKids course in London in order to better understand
how to adapt yoga poses for children of all ages and to be able to teach
them in a fun and imaginative way.
Children
will benefit both physically and mentally from yoga in the same way
that adults do and if is taught to them in a fun way.
I love doing yoga with my own kids and they love it too – here
we are practicing in the garden
